This weekend was my birthday weekend. It was a great weekend and a great birthday. Saturday the boyfriend and I went to the Aberfoyle Fall Fair. The piglets were so cute. And the donkey wouldn’t stop pacing until I got someone to pet him so I could take a picture. Who knew Clydesdales were so frigging huge? They had some pulling carriages. They are huge and so beautiful. I found out at the fair that there are purple peppers! Did anyone else know that? I’ve never seen them in grocery stores. No, in stores I just see the usual green, yellow, orange and red. I need to find purple peppers!

For my birthday I received money, chocolates, chocolate covered fruits and the Sims 3 expansion packs! So of course I had to install the World Adventures expansion pack and start to play. Which explains why this post is so late today. Between that and my website design class I haven’t done much in the way of work at all today. I can catch up on that tomorrow. Or maybe not. I still need to install the other expansion pack and play with that.

All in all it was great birthday even though I turned forty. Yes, I said 40. I have to say, it feels like thirty-nine. But I realized I was getting old when my mom asked me yesterday if I was going grey. Time to get to the hairdresser and fix that grey.

Okay, off to play some more. With the website or the Sims 3 I’m not sure. But I will play.
